These terms cover your use of gametrough.com. Plain English, because nobody reads the other kind.

Your account

You need an account to like, save, subscribe, comment or submit. One person, one account. You're responsible for what happens under it.

What you upload

You keep every right you had in your game. By submitting it you grant Game Trough a non-exclusive licence to host, display, sandbox and promote it on this site, and to generate cover art and preview images for it. You can withdraw a game at any time and we'll delete the build.

You must have the right to upload what you upload. Don't submit other people's work, assets you don't have a licence for, or anything that would land either of us in court.

What we won't host

• Malware, cryptominers, or anything that abuses a visitor's machine
• Attempts to break out of the sandbox, fingerprint visitors, or exfiltrate data
• Content that's illegal where it's hosted, sexual content involving minors, or material that targets a real person for harassment
• Native executables — this is a web games site

Every submission is reviewed before publication, and anything already published can be removed.

Moderation

We can reject, unlist or delete a game or forum post, and suspend an account, when these terms are broken. Rejections come with a written reason. Appeal by replying to the moderation notification.

AI-generated content

Games here are built with AI assistance — that's the premise. You are still responsible for what you submit, including whether you have the right to distribute it.

Liability

The site is provided as-is. Games are made by third parties and run in your browser at your own risk. We sandbox them thoroughly and make no warranty beyond that.

Changes

We'll update these terms occasionally. Material changes get a notice on the site.
